A few years we organise not one, but two children summer symposium. In the same trend we continue also this summer. After July workshop focused on the animation, the August workshop will be based on the key words and phrases as do it yourself, manual work, recycling or second chance for rubbish.

At the beggining of August we want spend as much time as we can outside with children, under Rondel, work manually and mentally think of various ways to work up the rubbish and to its creative utilization. We will talk to children with a message “child, do it yourself” and lead them to their self-activity, innovation and independence. We will create wallets from Tetra Paks, nesting boxes from plastic bottles, shades from rubbish paper. We will construct our own periscop, telephone from plastic yogurt containers, a football from the rubbish and many other great things. Nothing new, but more important. DIY culture hasn’t been more actual and involves also the youngest ones. And maybe we will fix something.

If you want to lead your children in similar way, apply them on Summer DIY symposium - Do it yourself, which will take place between 4 and 8 August 2014 (every day from 1.00pm to 6.00pm) at Stanica. The capacity is limited. The price for 5 days is 50 euros (or 10 euros for 1 day).

Workshop is suitable for children of school age (approx. from 6 to 15 years).
