DISK theatre company is not “only” amateurish theatre for a long time already. It has been existing almost 60 years now and with its production, it overwent local borders dispite of fact it is still connected to Trnava periphery, to place called Kopánka (DISK = Divadelný súbor Kopánka). Status, the most recent piece focuses on state of contemporary theatre through topics of passion, love, solitude and via its specific poetics speaks openly about feelings and experience of amateur actors who consider theatre to be their destiny.

Language of the actors is highly personal, it touches their own experience that they do not feel shy to talk about, using original, their natural speech full of self-irony. By methods of improvisation and fragmentariness, we approach their personal experience, features, current status and through them - to the critique of valus of contemporary culture and society.
