Nic proti ničemu / Nothing against nothing (Peter Marek)

Nic proti ničemu“Punky” ironic comedy by Peter Marek, is a playful picture of today´s life and spasmodic involvement of today´s thirties. We are introduced to a married couple, who are coming inkognito on founding meeting of future NGO for adopted people.

The film is very similar to Dogma 95 by authentic acting, documentary-like and raw visuality, but also by the filming style. It was made as an improvised staging starring the LÁHOR/soundsystem collective. Its a wise comedy about social principles of integrity and refusement. Film ironizes the double impact of undue tolerance, which holds up to the motto “nothing against nothing” and expresses an opinion, that this approach is as much dangerous, as alibism, or indifference.

(Petr Marek) doesn´t care about formal methods, changes genres, makes fun of stiff plots, ruins boundaries between reality show and featured film, and in the same time, he delivers a huge amount of documentary authenticity. You can find everything in his peculiar comedy with more than a peculiar subheading: Falošný pedofil v občianskom združení! (Fake pedophile in an NGO)“
