River Inguri is a natural border which divides Georgia and Abkhazia. An island is created in the middle of the river after one of spring floods, it´s perfect for corn growing. The story begins when an old abkhazian farmer built a cottage on the island. He lives with his very young granddaughter there. As the corn grows also the girl is growing and the inevitable confrontation with the outside world is comming…
