Aydin, a former actor, owns in Central Anatolya in Turkey a small hotel where he lives with his significantly younger wife Nihal and sister Necla who is recovering from recent divorce. Touristic season is in its end. The hotel is becoming a shelter in the winter as well as a prison which opens old wunds and stimulates mutual hostility of its inhabitants. The film was awarded by Palm d’Or at festival in Cannes 2014.
