Bratislava world music band Banda was created in 2003. It is inspired mainly by Slovak traditional music but also by other music genres (blues, jazz, beat, pop, old music) and folklore of other nations (balkans, celtics, slavic). Songs and melodies are elaborated in form of original arrangements. Banda uses acoustic instruments: cimbalon, viol, violin, contrabass, harmonica, mandoline, buzuki, drums, different kinds of percussions and sample of acoustic instruments (keyboard) and rich vocals.
