First feature film of german director Martin Persiel is a dynamic and lithe ode on contrasocial revolt of young people and nearly prohibited sport - skating in communist NDR. Director works with archive materials shot on 8 mm camera. Persiel´s piece follows three friends from their childhood in 70s till their defiance in 80s and during the fall of communism. Spectator can see the real life of skaters as never before.
