Hanba Successful, financially secure Brandon lives in modern New York with absolute possibilities and porn gigabites. Shame is freezing analisis of nowadays productive generation’s emptiness in which incapacity of love, feeling and communication is transformed into a pathologic addiction on ciclically repeated sexual activities. Thematically and visually exceptional insistent movie is unique for its strictness which reveals the emptiness of Brandon’s life and nowadays lives of generation in their thirties. Explicit sexual scenes point out routine of activities which have substituted deeper social and emotional relationships. Shame has the potential of radical generational statement.

…„The city as a vicious circle. Eden of bare luxury, infected by diseases of 21st century - addiction on work, money, internet, non-personal sex; a place, where to establish real human relationship and to activate natural emotions inside is too hard and complicated than nothing else. New York as a big city and western civilisation as impersonal waste of freedom with empty values…“ fantomfilm.cz
