Blue Is the Warmest Color (r. Abdellatif Kechiche)
cinema
Tuesday 18. 2. 2014, 5.00pm and 8.00pm

Život AdéleIn the age of 15, Adéle does not doubt anything: girls simply date with boys. Adéle’s life turns upside down when she meets Emma, young lady with blue hair who shows her by now unknown desires and how to become strong adult woman. Adéle is growing up, looking for herself, loosing herself and finding self again. This is a very contact film, the camera is almost permanently sticked to her face and when we get to know her perfectly, we feel like voyers entering her world. The director is interested in the process, transformation of a girl into a woman and its duration. Film that builds expressivity of storlytelling also through significant sexuality as unthinkable part of adolescence.
