No Pavarotti (Cz), 2 Horses Too Many (Cz), Möbius
concert
Sunday 6. 10. 2013, 20.00

No PavarottiUnder the name No Pavarotti there are hiding two musicians from the circles around the D.I.Y. record label KLaNGundKRaCH: k!amm and Rouilleux. Their music, mostly improvised and consisting from the guitar and the keyboard scapes, from the electronic noise and from the voices of both protagonists, could be described as a mix of drone-ambiental, noise, post-psychedelic and pop, whose common and in various ways deformed space is made by an echo. Opposites, as aggression and ambient or pop and experiment, are becoming the corners of the only relevant sound room. The sound of this music is never giving up on laziness, but rather naturally sprawls.

2 Horses Too Many is the new duet on the free improvised Prague’s scene, made out of two breathers, Patrik Pelikán and Petr Vrba. Patrik Pelikán is working with the known wind instruments (alto saxophone, soprano saxophone and clarinet), electronics and objects. Petr Vrba has appeared on the free improvised scene in the year 2005. Due to his tireless exploring of the non-idiomatic improvisation with the help of the trumpet, clarinet, vibrating speakers, egg slicers, piezoelectric microphones, etc. he became one of the most active experimental musicians in Prague.

Möbius are two young guys from Žilina, coming from the punk subculture, which they evolved into the uncompromising concept of the sludge/drone/doom music in a purely instrumental form. To the maximum resoluted slow drum beats are sometimes responding mighty guitar riffs, or drone freezings, or erratic melodies, emphasized with the guitar effects.
