Mariena and Roman are cousins. Despite each of them has own family, children and daily life, they are strangers in a village they live in. They both share common passion which is far from everyday routine - they adore singing stars Karel Gott and Dara Rolins. They collect and exchange clippings from tabloids, they rehearse songs of their idols and they take their identities under which their relatives and neighbours already know them. In spite of all expectations, Mariena disguises as Karel and Roman as Darina. One day, they decide to sing and record their favourite hit Zvonky šťastia (The Bells of Luck) and with self-made videoclip, they send it on DVD to the original famous singers. Marek Šulík and Jana Bučka follow them in this process. Mutual game begins in which not only roles of performers and filmmakers swap, but roles of media stars and ordinary people from low social environment as well.
