Dušan Hanák´s shear document Papierové hlavy / Paper Heads (1995) testifies about history of our society in years 1945 – 1989 in mosaic of authentic archive materials, testimonies of witnesses, in styled filmed sequences. The film serves strong emotional testimony about relations of an individual, and society, marked by political regime. It also paraphrases contemporary atmosphere of Mečiar´s governance. This document is one of the most important Slovak documentaries ever.
