Are you between 18 and 30 years old? Would you like to try living abroad? Working as a volunteer in an interesting organization in the fields of culture or other, and get more experienced? Receiving money from the European Union?

Within this seminar, you’ll be informed about program Youth in Action supported by the EU and administered by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the SR. The program aims to support work with youth outside of school and family, and youth policy in Slovakia and abroad. Young people to their thirties are invited to spend up to one year aborad within the European Volunteer Service program, or else they have an opportunity to join a short-term but intense youth exchange. People over 30 can still participate at educative seminars and meetings focused on supporting people who work with youth and program quality development on a European scale.

European volunteers are “well-know” at Stanica. You can spot them behind the bar, at ticket sales, in the city (sticking posters), or during events with a camera in their hands. However, they can do many other invisible things. In Zilina, there are other volunteers in other organizations such as Leisure Time Centre Zirafa, or Country Harmony Foundation. You can meet them in person and talk to them about their uncommon international experience as well as misunderstandings emerging from life abroad.
