The third year of international animation festival Fest Anča is here and you are welcome to join us in Stanica and enjoy the three days of screenings, workshops, concerts and parties. Three cinemas in Stanica (including the renewed S2), open air screenings under Rondel and new spot - Kino Centrum will nearly nonstop screen great and experimental animations from all over the world - in the program there are such names as Nick Park, Ján Švankmajer, Sylvain Chomet, Don Hertzfeldt, Suzan Pitt, David O´Reilly, Adam Elliot, Henry Selick. We are artists that import Waflicky from Holland and sell them in Slovakia. A simple tasty waffle, filled with caramel is our way to get to our goal: to support young Slovak artists and designers and contribute to art education in Slovakia. How? come and taste and see!

LOMOGRAPHY
Led by: Matej “Jolo” Zoldoš
Lomography.sk will participate at the Fest Anča also this year. As the festival´s main topic is animated film, the lomography workshop will also be related to animation. We will use the super sampler camera as a primitive video camera that will take photos as 4 frame sequences that can be easily animated. Our goal is to make minifilms out of the sequences right at the venue. And we need you – lomography cameramen, script writers and editors to join us! The workshop is for free and it will be going on from the beginning up to the – as we hope, successful- end of the festival.
