Zuzana Piussi is courageous enough to speak about issues which are not “in”. However, it is not only taboo issues that she explores; from non-classical point of view, other classical themes are explored as well. And what’s more, she is not afraid to ask.

Please feel free to accept an invitation to come and see two documentaries. They have provoked discussions, about which you might ask the author in person. “Koliba” concerns a trauma of Slovak cinematography – it is a tempting issue yet nobody has dared to get involved in it. Actors documentary “The Grandma”, subtitled as “Film for slighlty perverted viewers” depicts the story of an aging woman, who does not wish to give up her love life. 650 men have replied to her advertisement, inviting young men to have sex with her.
