Dance workshop (Stanica_FLUX)

First from the series of four dance workshops within a new continual project 3P – Space for move. The project is organized by Stanica Žilina-Záriečie in cooperation with Dance theatre Alternatív, and focuses on bringing contemporary dance closer to the public. An introductory workshop will be led by Zuzana Burianová, dancer, choreographer, dance pedagogue, and VŠMU graduate, who has also collected inspiration and experience during her studies abroad in Stavanger University in Norway and Concordia University in Canada. “Work dynamics” dance workshop is designed for amateur dancers and dance lovers without age restrictions. They all can try out working with dynamics, explore their own movement structures and new possibilities of their physical expression.

This year, Stanica Žilina-Záriečie launches 3P – Space for move project so that its participants can explore contemporary dance and movement as such. Apart from informal education at schools, dance performances and interactive discussions, we offer workshops through which one can search for his or her own way to dance.
