“All the children know that we’re fuckers, love / and you think that we can still get over it… / But we willl become official culture / velvet rock revolution on all the covers / the whole world will get pissed, and the rest we’ll call fuckers / And we’ll only sing about love further on…” (Lues de Funes: (This is a) Love song)

A grotesque performance feature of an icon of Czech pop-music and the most famous Czech, depicting the life and work of Karel Gott on the grounds of principal historical moments in the Czech past (1969-2009). Non-verbal variety show, in which audience is guided by two ladies and die hard fans from Gottland museum. Director: Jiří Jelínek

Divadlo Archa (Praha)
Šanca 1989 alebo Window of Opportunity (Tomáš Vrba, Ondřej Hrab, Jana Svobodová , Anna Grusková)
Window of opportunity is a term used by NASA. It literally denotes a complicated constellation of conditions, under which a space shuttle can be launched. Metaphorically, it is a chance which should not be missed, because it might not come again soon. Did we take a chance, which was given to us in 1989?
The performance is framed within a fictive radio broadcast intertwined with authentic statements of students and fragments from “radio comic” Kurt and Květa. This story depicts a mixed Czech-German married couple, living in a Czech town Pardubice, and trying to avoid revelation of their collaboration with the former regime.
Director: Jana Svobodová
