skCUBE – First Slovak Satellite Heading to Space
Stanica in Research – What Is New in Science and Research at University of Žilina?

skCUBEIn the end of January 2015 deputies authorized the international contract between Slovak Republic and European Space Agency (ESA) and that is good news considering the first Slovak satellite for instance.

How does skCUBE look and work? Why is it usefull to have our own satellite? And when will it go to space? Guests of the debate will be Ondrej Závodský, student of telecommunications from University of Žilina and enthusiast into all kinds of radio stuff who concentrates on realization of a communication module for satellite, and Jakub Kapuš, headmaster of devolopment of skCUBE and chairman of Slovak Organization for Space Activities (SOSA).

New regular cycle of scientific lectures, presentations and discussions is organized by Stanica in cooperation with University of Žilina.
