United-C, formerly United Cowboys, is a Dutch company focused on interdisciplinary projects, dance, site specific, as well as performative presentations. Apology takes as starting point the roaming Man, who lives life strong-willed but clumsily – and stumbles in order to get back up. In short: Man who is ‘simply trying’. Key words: time, desire and regret.

The expressive and at times explosive dance, choreographer Pauline Roelants describes as ‘the power of movement brought back to its essence’. Thus she bares dance to its core, through a fascination with the body and power of the performer. For Apology a new cast of five international dancers was formed. Personalities, predispositions and mistakes are the essence of the performance.
