Plenér(s) (Plein Air*) is the best way to start the summer inspired by nature and expressing yourself in your favourite medium. Surrounded with fresh air and other creative people for 2 days gives you a good opportunity for capturing the splendor of nature by drawing, painting, meditating, composing, taking photos, making sculptures, shooting a film, enjoying interesting conversations, wine and so much else you can think of. In the end of course making a private exhibition with a grand opening in the mighty gallery of nature just for ourselves. In case of bad weather, it is possible to be creative indoors.

Join us for this creative outdoor workshop on 4th and 5th of June in beautiful surroundings of Sklabina castle (~ 35 km from Zilina).

* Plein air is a term derived from the French phrase en plein air, which literally means “in the open air”. It is a familiar concept today, but in the late 1800s when the Impressionists ventured out of their studios into nature to investigate and capture the effects of sunlight and different times of days on a subject, it was quite revolutionary.

In price (8 eur) included:
- dinner for Saturday evening (barbecue)
- lunch for Sunday
- some wine for the grand opening
- sleeping place in historical building near the castle (sleeping bag needed)
- a speach about castle
- some paper

The rest you have to manage yourself. Everybody should be prepared to travel buy bus or/and train and take some food, working materials and a sleeping bag with them. It is also possible to go there with a car.
