Concert / Kofola Sessions
Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 8pm

The Burning Hell (c) Angus Rowe MacPhersonBand from Ontario’s Peterborough, The Burning Hell, performed in 2009 for the first time for Slovak audience at Bazant Pohoda festival. All those who attended the gig that time appreciated it. Live music by Mathias Kom makes for a fascinating show full of nice songs and a variety of musical inventions.

Phoebe KreutzSupporting act by American singer-songwriter Phoebe Kreutz. Kreutz’ musical style is often described as „joke-folk”, and her songs are often inspired by diverse subjects, such as historical figures („Oh, Elizabeth I”), literature („A Bad Feeling About Anna Karenina”), relationships („Disaster”), and the pitfalls of Rock’n'Roll excess („The Ballad of Throat Culture”). About her style, the New York Times wrote „Phoebe Kreutz’s chanteusey delivery and comic writing were genuinely funny”.
