Rain Dance visual theatre is inspired by the philosophy of natural people, and on the other hand, by profane entertainment genres and disciplines – according to the TV entertainment model – fast-food equivalent. Such an absurd and dark slapstick links entertainment clichés, growing skepticism in the Western culture, wandering demons of the Old World, who cannot find their way in it as well as its inhabitants. An existential horror about the need for liberation, which may never come.

No PC nor other technologies based on software use were applied during making of this performance.

Handa Gote is a conceptual post-dramatic theatre, making use of sound installations, physical and dance theatre, live music, visual theatre and technologies. Their work is influenced by minimalism, Eastern philosophy and Do It Yourself movement. They mix Czech pragmatism, object recycling and inspiration by Japan haiku. The troupe was founded in 2005. Handa Gote is a Japanese word for “blowlamp”.
