We have a new public collection from February 2011 for a new piano. More than 20 concerts of contemporary music take place in Stanica every year, and more and more we play classic chamber music of composers from 20th Century. The only musical instrument that the artists cannot bring with them is the piano. We would like to have one! We have been given one by Norwegian pianist Beena Kumar-Karpišová before she left Bratislava. The white piano Rosler now needs 400 hours of work to be completely renewed and prepared for transport to Žilina. The master Pavol Tima is already working on it and our task is to collect 3.000 € to pay him. For 3.000 € we will get a great instrument that will serve for at least 20 years for any concert in Stanica. Dobrá krajina means Good Country in Slovak. A new philantropic portal has been created by Pontis Foundation in November 2009 and Stanica has been chosen as one of the 51 projects contributing to change of Slovakia for a good country among 250 applicants. Through the website of Dobrakrajina.sk you can easily support our activities via SMS, internet banking or other easy means. You can find other friends supporting NGOs and their activities and you can also follow the results made thanks to your donation.

During a year we have collected thanks to you more than 1.300 € for our previous project. Under a symbolic name Camp under Rondel, we are going to continue in reconstruction and revitalization of the park under the bridge next to Stanica, to finish our new venue S2, to build new workshops and studios for artists and to enable more people to use the public garden in the industrial zone close to our cultural centre.
