There are several documentaries about Pina Bausch, but there are even more shots of her performances. She, however, shot just one film. „Die Klage der Kaiserin” is at first sight a line of short motion sketches, which are floating without clear causality. Gradually, the strong feeling in the head, emotion, similar to the experience of dance performance is building. Particularities are lost in the maze of forms, but results communicates on the innermost level.
