Photo Exhibition by Martin Bandžák – at Stanica Entrance Hall

With your help, we have contributed to the worldwide campaign for Haiti victims twice. First time, the whole admission from film festival “One world” was donated to “People in Peril” organization, the other time, the money from the tenth Pecha Kucha Night was used to support activities of international organization Architecture for Humanity. This time, we’re coming with another contribution – entering Stanica you’ll find photographs by Martin Bandžák, which he took in Haiti a month after natural disaster. Martin Bandžák is a founder of Magna organization, “Children In Need”, which sent the team of doctors to Haiti. Magna helps children, mothers, and people in endangered parts of the world (currently Cambodia, Kenya, Congo, Nicaragua, Vietnam and Barma), and apart from these, it operates in place like Haiti, in which urgent help is necessary. Photographs monitor the tragedy of the capital, Port au Prince. Magna’s travelling exhibition aims at mediating the report on situation and ongoing activities on the spot after the earthquake.
