Hi again, in the second part I will tell you how I came familiar with this job - video editing. When I was younger I actually was never on the computer, the technology was not in my life. I didn’t have the mobile phone, I didn’t watch TV, I was out all the time with my friends, with my band, actually bands, I had few of them, and when someone asked me, if I heard of something new, or if I watch the new movie, I really didn’t know what they are talking about. But I liked it this way; I was an old school punks, who was interested in fun and go with flow.

Anyway, in secondary school I started to manage concerts, in the Faculty I’ve become active in my school student organization, than later in local student organization in my home town, so I‘ve organize many events and I saw that promotion and archive of the events are quite important for the people, even if I organize just some small party. So, I bought myself cheap photo camera, which you can put in the pocket, and I started to take photos on the events. I was always using the automatic setting on the camera and I didn’t know that also other function exist on my small photo camera. Then I went on some course about taking photos and learning about the function in our non professional cameras. At the end we also had exhibition in the castle and I was really satisfied with the course, which had brought me a lot of new knowledge in my life.

So,… finally to the videos… For many years me and my friends have a organization “Pizdun” and we organize punk rock concert, trips, parties, workshops, festivals, … we are small alternative independent organization. And here I’ve realized that photos are fun, but people are board, they want more, they want videos, specially after the concerts. So, I went to another course, organized by same people, where I’ve got the knowledge about photography, and now I have started to learn programme Adobe PremierePro, it’s a program in which you edit your videos. It’s a good thing to go on some course, because you will learn thing much faster than by yourself at home, and you will know much more. Of course you can also edit videos in some simple program like Movie Maker or other. But in the bigger programs you can do more in its more fun, so this is how I’ve started to edit videos for myself and my organization. And with this knowledge I came to Žilina.

The big concert in S2 was in December with bands Midi Lidi and Puding Pani Elvisovej.

Some friends they like this concert very much, specially the projections in S2, it was really spectacular, so they wanted to see all my stuff from video tape and I have uploaded on YouTube 57 minutes and 28 seconds of material. If you have time and interest, than click here.

At the end, you can watch video shots from photo camera, so it’s little bit bad quality and this are non edit videos. You will see Stanica program from September (Fashion show on the Mariánske námestie - main town square of Žilina, Critical mass, Bicycle Orchestra - it’s a bike concert and workshop, concert Bélaműhely from Hungary).

Fashion show by Segrasegra, a famous group of young female designers from Prague have present their new as well as older collection of dresses, bags, jackets and other accessories designed for cyclists.

On the 21 July, my friends from Slovenia come to visit me,… well actually they were on the trip from Slovenia to Poland to do some street performance. They went on hitchhike, without any money, just to have some fun and crazy memory on the youth. Here is the video from the trip, but I didn’t make this video, I am just giving you the link to see how they were doing:
