It will have been 111 years on October 10 since the first train from Žilina to Rajec went past Stanica. Station did not exist then, people had no idea about the name Žilina-Záriečie, and the place was known as Žilina-tehelňa (brick factory). Things are changing yet the train called „Rajecká Anča“ has been running since then. During the weekend, you can take a ride on a historical motor carriage M131 called „Hurvínek“, be a guest to comic book launch ceremony called „Beware, the train comes in“ about trains and stations in the history of art, and see an animated historical documentary for children „The Tales of Stanica“. Become a fan of 111-year old lady, take your „ride“ and enjoy the celebration in a way you like (timetables valid for Stanica Žilina-Záriečie).
