Tree of Luck, Friend of Magda Janczuk and Jakub Adamec

More than a year ago, on Friday April 13 2009, visual artists Magda Janczuk (PL) and Jakub Adamec (CZ) planted a willow tree in front of Stanica. At the end of their artistic residency they wanted to realise a permanent public art project to leave a trace. It was snowing that day, but the willow has survived. So Magda and Jakub came back, played an audiovisual performance The Happy New Ends on KioSK festival and on Saturday July 24, 2010 they installed a plate with a poem The Tree of Luck, Friend and closed the willow tree project.

The Tree of Luck, Friend
Let me grow higher,
let me see further,
let me go stronger and better.
I’m standing here for everyones’ happiness,
also for christians also for muslims also for jews,
also for white also for black also for yellow,
also for heterosexuals also for gays,
also on the right also on the left.
