Daniela Baráčková (Cz) painted our theatre space S2 on the wall of Považská Gallery of Art in Žilina. Czech artist reacted in this way on the theme of artistic intervention in the public space. On this exhibition of Czech and Slovak artists working in the public space you can find also other works, mostly documented in photo and video and parallel similar exhibition is taking place in the gallery in Zlin (Cz). Slovak artist Matej Vakula prepared for the exhibition special performance in which an invited jury judged the works in the public space realised in Slovakia and chose the best (István Csákány’s Monument for Monument in front of Stanica) and worst (recently opened statue of Svatopluk in Bratislava Castle by communistic sculptor Ján Kulich).
