More than 30 feature and short films about contemporary pressing issues, or “Everything you were ever scared of ”– today on screen. Whereas in the beginnings, the festival mostly reflected upon wars, violence, or minority discrimination – today, it is economics, on which cameras are focused more closely. The main topic of the festival “One World” at Stanica is – money. Though they stand behind the majority of war conflicts, contemporary society no longer pretends its nature – money as sovereign power, to which politicians are subordinate.

The other theme of festival, urgency of which is increasing, is the one of energies – battle between the old and the new forms of satisfying our needs for comfort, and higher consumption. It turns out that a then-blurry slogan of the festival – Festival of heroes called US – is true. Projections of “best of” films from Prague, Bratislava and Budapest will be accompanied by discussions about ecological energy, finance, and meeting with directors. Detailed program coming soon.
